Use of your data

When you contact us

We collect any information included in your email or in the contact form you submitted, such as your email address, name, and/or company. If you place any personal information in the body of your email or message, we collect that as well.

We will only use this data to answer your query or respond to your communication.

We will keep your information until we no longer have any need to communicate with you. This will typically be 12 months after our last email or phone call.

We are processing this data because we have a legitimate interest in promoting our products and services, and to enable any correspondence with you in order to carry out our business.

If your enquiry results in you considering us as a supplier for the goods and services we offer, we are then processing your personal information in connection with negotiating a contract.

The data will not leave the European Union* and is not passed to any third party.

When you subscribe to our blog

We collect your email address via the "Subscribe" form on the sidebar of our blog page(s). We will use your email address only for the purposes of informing you when we have posted new content to our blog.

Privacy information for GoCardless Odoo Connector users

When you connect to your GoCardless account

We will collect some information from your Odoo installation in order to enable us to identify you as a customer and support your use of the application. We collect:  
  • The URL of your Odoo installation, in order to enable our API to complete the connection

  • Your company's name as configured in Odoo

  • Your company's primary contact email address as configured in Odoo

This information will be used by us in order to service your use of the GoCardless connector (for example, to notify you of important security updates), and in pursuit of our legitimate interest in informing you of new products and service offerings. You may opt out of marketing-related communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in the relevant email.

At no time will any of your information be shared with third parties for marketing purposes, however we may share information with GoCardless Ltd strictly in order to service your use of the product.


* For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of "Brexit" all references to the European Union shall be interpreted as still including the United Kingdom where applicable.
